32 Station Road The Courtyard Sheringham Norfolk NR26 8RF
We are a friendly, family run coffee shop and tearoom with a vintage twist in the heart of picturesque Sheringham. Established in 2003, we’re pretty good at keeping the people of, and visitors to, Sheringham in coffee and cake, having built up an established reputation with a welcoming lively atmosphere. Whether you’re popping in for a quick blast of caffeine, a leisurely lunch and a good book, or a coffee and a catch up with your pals, we are the place for you!
We have a varied selection of homemade cakes and scones. As we like to keep it in the family, all of our homemade cakes are made by our ‘Nanny Jean’ a baking enigma who continues to bring customers back again and again. Some of our regulars drive over an hour to have a taste of the infamous and fiercely guarded recipe for Nanny Jean’s carrot cake!
As well as hot drinks and cakes, we also offer light lunches of Toasted Sandwiches and Jacket Potatoes (using local bakeries and greengrocers for supplies!)
We offer a small selection of Gluten free/Dairy free cakes, kept wrapped and sealed for the benefit of our coeliac customers.
Our coeliac customers can also rest assured that separate grills and chopping boards are used in the making and prep of your food to safeguard against cross contamination.
We also cater for the dairy intolerant by offering a choice of Soya/Almond milk, dairy free spread and Genius gluten free and dairy free bread for toasted sandwiches.
Things That Make Us Different.
We do like a cup of tea or coffee from a vintage cup, we scour car boot sales, charity shops and antique emporiums to find ones we like the best!
We like having fresh flowers on our tables every week, not plastic ones (!)
Our girls (and boys!) like to look pretty for work so our uniforms change on a daily basis, one day we might be in black and white with pearly collars and one day we might be in floral dresses! We see how we feel on the day!
We only play music from the 1920’s to the 1970’s. We know who our customers are and they (like us!) think that the oldies are the best. We’ve even had impromptu group sing-
Why not pop along today to soak up the atmosphere.
